Das Walz - Restaurant & Cafe in Bad Duerrheim

The rooms are a bit cramped, the dining room is very noisy. The food was good, but not exorbitant. The prices on the board are a bit confusing, we couldn't understand the bill in the end. Service friendly, a bit inattentive. Ultimately too expensive for what you get.

Great cakes and pies .. Great food, But the size of the pieces of cake vary ... Customers who are obviously known (were before us) ... the pieces of cake are huge .. (We were already looking forward to it) !! When we were served there was a lot of air on our cake tray. ? So, what a shame ?

Nicely decorated and excellent food and drinks. At the weekend, I recommend a reservation as it is busy. Service nice and friendly. I would love to come back to Café Walz again.

Nice outside terrace, cozy, in the evening it becomes romantic with table candles. The food was very good. Matjes super tender, also the mango slices and the potatoes well seasoned and fried. Likewise the Maultaschen with chanterelles. We were very satisfied. Very nice, friendly wait staff. ?

A nice location. Interior design from "yes fits" to "well" but, as is well known, tastes are different. The menu is clear, not overloaded and there are also changing daily specials. Cakes are delicious and the homemade confectionery is highly recommended. In terms of price, it is in the upper mid-range. The wait staff are all friendly and very hospitable.

Partly Austrian cuisine, excellent taste, but slightly smaller portions, free musician outdoors on Fridays. Was worth the visit!

Very popular place in Bad Dürrheim, so we also had to test it ... simply brilliant! The soup had a mega good taste, the side salad was lonely and my main course (beef with spaetzle and sauce) was delicious. There was also nothing to complain about when trying the other dishes. The staff was very friendly and quick.

Often very crowded because it is very popular in Bad Dürrheim. Cozy and clean with a brisk service. To recommend: the waltz room! The house cake with chocolate cream and fruit. Sitting outside is also possible, even in February. The inside is very narrow for wheelchair users. There are a few parking spaces on the street nearby. Prices are reasonable.

Fantastic food made with love, super friendly and professional service and very welcoming atmosphere. Been a few times already with my grandma for lunch. Always brilliant service, very friendly and nice welcoming atmosphere. The food is all made with so much detail and love. Very tasty and fresh ingredients. The daily menu varies with seasonal and locally sourced products. My favourite is the red trout with grilled mushrooms. As I have a gluten allergy it was no problem to swap the pasta with some vegetables. Also don’t miss the Espresso with 3 home made chocolate pralines. Nice finish of a great meal. See you soon again.

Good food, good service

Great restaurant with a nice interior and good menu. The food arrived quickly and the kitchen allowed us to combine from two dishes. I definitely would recommend a meal at this place.
